amazing artworks based on children’s drawing
I was truly amazed by those pictures. You can find them here
(found viayescreative on Twitter )
Brandon Boyd, you are kinda amazing.
So, so, so inspiring. Mural painting itch needs to be scratched.
September 2011 Artist Feature
“Unmoralez” is a kind of Art I’ve never seen before. Pixel Art or rather solid digital art. The Pictures are often reduced to 2-3 colors. Scary, dark and simply impressing!

October 2011 Artist Feature
This month I’d like to feature a young German artist who’s known as “maulheld” or “deltamue”. Most of her amazing pictures are digital paintings, often created with the free online drawing application ‘Oekaki’.
As a Oekaki Addict myself I can say that she has a kind of unique technique and a very individual style I’ve nowhere else seen before. The choice of colors are very special and the pictures often kinda emotional or/and dark. I love it. If you want to see more, please visit her deviantArt page -here-

November 2011 Artist Feature
So i haven’t actually had the time to finish any f my drawings…
So it’s time for another artist feature!
So let me introduce to you (in case you don’t know him yet from DeviantArt):
He earns a lot of respect for his stunning Paintings (traditional works, no digital paintings!!). I’ve never seen anyone before who can do such amazing things with color and brushes with his bare hands. Just wonderful. An enviable talent. No more to say. Just enjoy
“Backdoor into Luxuriance” Oil painting on canvas - 80x120 cm, January 2007

April 2012 Artist Feature: “kooookooookooookoooo”
Monthly Artist Feature is back! After a long break of featuring interesting Artists it’s back:
May I present you this man from Belgium:
I allow myself to say: His ways, traditional. His style, new!
To me, his portraits all look like painted on rocks/stones.
I really like that kind of style, the choice of colors and the way he paints expressions.
I really recommend you to take a look at -his DeviantArt profile-

Since it was drawn with an online drawing application, the tool started bugging around after a while because of the picture’s size I guess. So In the end I couldn’t make it as detailed as wanted and had no Idea for a background (guess because of the pose) that’s why I cropped it a little. However there are some anatomy mistakes (although I had a reference! Oh my…). They bug me a little, but since it’s not directly realism it’s not too bad I guess.
Drawing time: about 6h+
Tool: Shi-Painter, Graphic Tablet, Mouse
